Beach parties are very much part of Goa, and are full of dance and music. The waters of Goa are perfect for water skiing, pace vessels, parasailing, breeze surfing, dinghy cruising, scuba diving, angling and yacht sailing. Windsurfing enthusiasts can take to Dona Paula Bay and to Benaulim and Palolem for dolphin cruises and angling trips.

Goa's monuments combine seamlessly into the natural enclosures, and a trip of the places of adoration and temples reflects the harmony between the Portuguese and Hindu influences. Overall, Goa has some very good picnic locations away from the sands - the Cabo de-Rama Fort, Terekhol Fort, the Arvalem and Dudhsagar Waterfalls, and the Mayem Lake are flawless for one-day trips.
