Vagator Beach Goa

The picturesque beach Vagator is located close by Mapusa and it is situated close to Chapora fort. It is an empty and unspoilt scenic beach as compared to other sandy coastlines close to Panaji. Vagator beach is perfect for those in quest of pollution free air, seclusion and better swimming. Vagator beach is well renowned for evening parties, trance parties, and the Hilltop Motel. The Chapora and the Anjuna Beach are in close proximity to Vagator.

Vagator is one of the more attractive white sand Goa beaches. It is one of the most romantic beaches of Goa and is frequented by newly wedded couples from all parts of the globe. To come to the sandy seashore, you have to stroll down a vertical cliff. The sea here is not safe for bathing, but throughout the peak season, it has a vibrant nightlife. The south beach is fairly dispersed and is more secluded. A little farther south of the major beach you'll find the Little Vagator or Ozran beach with a new water pool. You can also make a trip to the Chapora Fort, situated closeby. This remnant of the Portuguese legacy provides a panoramic view of the ocean, lush green paddy fields, and the unending rows of coconut trees.

One astonishing rock -cut sculpture has the face of Lord Shiva on the rock. It will provide a good backdrop for your snapshot. The hotels of Vagator have well equipped rooms, along with swimming pools and open air restaurants. Some of the hotels of Vagator have Portuguese architecture. If you are travelling to in time of the year you have to reserve for it earlier. If you are planning to journey by air, Dabolim is the closest airport. There are bus services between Mapusa and Vagator. Car rental services are accessible in Vagator. Super deluxe and deluxe motor advisers are also available. Accommodation is not very easy to find because there are only a couple of inns here. Though rental dwellings are accessible here, which are offered by local families at affordable costs.
