Dona Paula Beach Goa

Dona Paula beach is one of the most popular beaches of Goa and has acquired legendary status. It is simply the best destination for honeymooners and beach lovers. The sandy seashore got the title from Dona Paula de Menzes, the female child of a viceroy during the colonial period. She leapt off from the cliff because of denial of her wedding ceremony with a localized fisherman. Dona Paula is 7 kms from Panaji. It is an idyllic scenic spot.

Dona Paula is adjacent to the rocky cliff between Mandovi and the Zuari. This isolated embankment presents you a fine view of Zuari River and Mormugao Harbour.
