Cavelossim Beach Goa

Cavelossim Beach, is a small stretch of beach eleven kilometres southern of Colva beach.Cavelossim comes in between the Arabian Sea and the Sal River and it is best known for mussels. A few kilometres down you shall locate Mobor, located south of Cavelossim beach is the Mobor beach that already boast of five star resorts like the Leela Beach Resort. Cavelossim is a pristine sandy, wide beach and shallow sea. It is one of the beaches of Goa and also counted amongst the finest beaches of India. This beach lies at a distance of roughly 12 km from Benaulim. Margo is 18 km away from Cavelossim village. Both Cavelossim and Mobor have white sands and black lava rocks.

Both beaches are relatively remote and there are small beach shacks here. Mobor has a fishing town with a small lake near the mouth of a river, and its fun to watch the seagulls that reach feast on the fish drying on the sand. Sitting on the Cavelossim beach you can catch a glimpse of men collecting clams, mussels and oysters from the river silt. The Cavelossim beach is known for shopping, you can pick upward Indian crafts and other objects from the many stores in the beach.

The beach has many beach shacks which offer a wide range of Goan 'thalis' and mouth watering seafood at plausible prices. Dolphin watching is the main attraction at Covelossium beach. There are special shipping outings that are organized for dolphin watching excursions. Buses, autos, cycles and scooters are available simply for hire here.You can also hire taxis from Dabolim Airport to arrive the beach resorts here. One can obtain rental car from the Dabolim Airport to arrive the beach resorts. Rental cycle and scooters are available to explore the inside of village. Accommodation is also available for budget and economy category passengers though not on the beach itself. Cavelossim beach houses a lot five star resorts and is much cleaner and quieter than majority of the legendary beaches of Goa.
